The pericope that I choose for this reflection paper is Numbers 17:1-13. This pericope is the last in the series of three narratives about the revolt of Israel congregation against the high priest position of Aaron and the leadership of Moses. The first revolt came from Korah. Korah was a member of the tribe of Levi, the same tribe of Aaron (Exodus 6:16-20). Korah’s rebellion is not merely a personal attack on Aaron but also on his appointed-by-God priesthood. The second revolt led by Dathan and Abiram and the 250 other lay leaders defied and rejected the leadership of Moses. These revolted leaders have a very democratic argument, which is the will of the people must have higher authority than the leadership appointed by God. God answers by kill all the leaders and the followers of these two revolted parties. All those events establish the context for the text in Numbers 17:1-13. In this pericope, God instructs Moses to set up one final test in order to show His approval for A aron’s prietshood. This final test is intended to put an end to the people’s questioning and challenging of the authority of both Aaron and Moses. In this final test, Moses is instructed to take a staff from each tribal leader. The name of each leader is written on his staff. Aaron’s name is inscribed on the staff represents for the Levi tribe. One way is to make English language a compulsory subject. In my school just as Mathematics, Science and other social subjects are taught English should also be introduced as proper course. All students from their very early education will be introduced to English. All students would be required to pass the English course before they can be promoted to the next grade. For example a grade one who is not able to pass grade one English course will not be promoted to grade 2. Similarly grade two student will not be promoted to grade three until he has passed the English course. The level of complexity and difficulty of English would be increased slowly and gradually each year so that when a student finishes his primary education he is able to read, write, and understand the Basic English. Communication and skills or could be improved by encouraging students to speak in English when in school rather than native language. The second way would be to teach all the subjects in English from the beginning instead of the local language. In Thailand currently all the subjects we mostly taught in the local language so that the students can grasp the ideas more quickly and easily. As a results the students became used to study everything in local language rather than English. If all the subjects are taught in English the students will learn the language more quickly and they will also be comfortable in using in the language later in their educational life when they study more advanced subjects in English. In short all schools should be made strictly English medium. From the two suggestions that I have made I think the second one will be more effective and feasible. I say that because if all the subjects we taught in English then it would be easy for students to adapt the language. If on the others hand there is only one cause of English language and the rest of the subjects we taught in local language then the students will not concentrate on the English language enough. Students might try to just pass the English course and focus more on the others subject since they might find the other course easier to understand. An example to support my argument could be comparison of the students of India and China. From my research I have found out that students in India are taught all the subjects during their primary education in English. As a result the students do not consider English as a foreign language but rather consider English as an integral and core part of their early education. The result is that Indian students are able to understand and communicate more efficiently compared to students of other nationalities. Chines on the other hand are taught all their course in local language. So although they have sharp minds and critically they have a hand time communicating all their ideas in English language. Conclusion In conclusion, if we are use English language in all subjects and always taught in English that students will have concentrate to study because if they not concentrate then will difficult to learning. When students can use English well they can learn the language more quickly. In Thailand should to pass the English course before then they can be promote to the next grade. If they can’t pass English course then they can continue study again until they have passed the English course. I think, this way is possible for my school.

Each one of us have their own dreams who want to achieve it. There is no easy thing in this world. We should work hard for it. But sometimes faith is trying to fool us, no matter how hard a person try he/she can also feel failures in it. But, this doesn't mean we should stop of dreaming. By the time comes, when I can build my own family. I can give my children a better food, shelter, cloth and the most important is education. To be honest, there's still none these dreams that I have mention comes true but I don't loose hope on it. I'm still young and there is still a long way to walk. As long as I have faith to God and work hard in order to achieve my dreams and one day my dreams can comes true.When I was a kid I have a dream of becoming a soldier for our country but as I grew old I realize that I just want to become a successful businessman or have a good career in the field of Multimedia Arts. The opposite of cacophony is â€Å"euphony,† a mixture of words that sound pleasant or melodious to the reader. A common misconception is that any tongue-twister, like â€Å"She sells seashells by the seashore† is an example of cacophony. While cacophonous phrases can be tricky to pronounce, not every tongue-twister is a cacophony. For example, â€Å"She sells seashells by the seashore† is actually an example of sibilance- the repeated use of soft consonants to produce hissing sounds- and is thus more euphony than cacophony. Explosive Consonants: A Key to Cacophony In many cases, â€Å"explosive† consonants are the key ingredient of cacophony. Explosive or â€Å"stop† consonants are those after which all sound abruptly stops, producing tiny verbal explosions or â€Å"pops† when spoken aloud. The consonants B, D, K, P, T, and G are the consonants most commonly used in creating a cacophony. For example, imagine writing about a metal pot falling down a stairway. The pot would ping, ting, bong, dong, clang, and bang before going whack against your head. Other explosive consonants  or stop sounds include C, CH, Q, and X. Individual words, sentences, paragraphs, or entire poems are considered cacophonous when they contain explosive consonants occurring in relatively close succession. For example, in his classic poem â€Å"The Raven,† Edgar Allan Poe uses the â€Å"G† sound in a cacophony when he writes, â€Å"What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore.†Or in William Shakespeare’s â€Å"Macbeth,† the three witches’ chant of â€Å"Double, double toil and trouble,† repeats the â€Å"D† and â€Å"T† sounds to create a cacophony. However, this does not mean that every consonant must be explosive or that explosive sounds must come in rapid succession. Indeed, most cacophonies use other, non-explosive consonant sounds to add to the passage’s expression of uncomfortable discord. In contrast, euphony- the opposite of cacophony- uses soft consonant sounds, like â€Å"floral† or â€Å"euphoria,† or â€Å"cellar door,† which linguists consider the most pleasing combination of two words in the English language. Why Authors Use Cacophony In both prose and poetry, authors use cacophony to help bring life to their writing by making the sound of their words reflect or even mimic the subject, mood, or setting they are writing about. For example, cacophony might be used in writing about: The tolling of distant bells.The noise of a busy city street or classroom full of unruly children.The chaotic violence of a battleground.Dark emotions like guilt, regret, or sorrow.A world filled with fantasy and mysterious settings. And being no stranger to the art of war, I gave him a description of cannons, culverins, muskets, carbines, pistols, bullets, powder, swords, bayonets, battles, sieges, retreats, attacks, undermines, countermines, bombardments, sea fights, ships sunk with a thousand men†¦ In similar passages, combining sharp sounds of the explosive consonants C and K add a nature of ruggedness and violence to words like â€Å"cannons† and â€Å"muskets, while P and B add to the discomfort felt while reading words like â€Å"pistols† and â€Å"bombardments.† But Does Cacophony Always Work?   While it can clearly add color and tone to writing, cacophony can sometimes do more harm than good.   If used for no good reason or too often, it can distract and even aggravate readers, making it hard for them to follow the work’s main plot or to understand its intent. The Gerouisa was made up of 28 male citizens, all over the age of sixty, who once elected served for live.Below the Gerousia, was another assembly, the Apella. The Apella consisted of male citizens over the age of thirty. To complete the system of checks and balances, the Spartans created a judicial position called  ephor. At any given time, there were five citizens serving in this role. Ephors were citizens over the age of thirty. They were elected to serve one-year terms. Ephors possessed considerable clout. An ephor could bring charges against anyone in Sparta—including one the city-state’s kings.Whilst some historians believed this government system to be efficient, and a sure way to keep matters, and laws fair through-out Sparta, Aristotle disagreed with one judicial position in particular, the Euphors. On them he said ‘The Lacedaemonian constitution is defective in another point; I mean the Ephoralty. The English teachers have to be good in teaching not only having a bachelor degree but cannot impart any useful knowledge to their students. Moreover, the primary school is the most important period for the students. If the teachers are not good enough in teaching English which can affect to their quality of teaching, the Thai education will fail as a whole. Besides, the teachers have to motivate the students to have a positive attitude towards English language too. A prime example of this phenomenon is the Japanese movie The Ring (1998), which is one of the most horrifying and the highest grossing films ever to be released in Japan. Its success spawned a series of remakes such as in Korea as The Ring Virus (1999) and in the United States as The Ring (2002). The studios did not have to take the risk of inventing new characters, setting, or plot. They simply moved forward on a tried and true formula that had previously been successful. ... The studio's attempt to save money by reproducing more of the same actually resulted in heavy losses.
